Banana Chocolate Toffee Cupcakes

 

Ingredients
For the cupcakes:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana, about 2 large bananas
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup whole milk
For the frosting:
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 3 Tbsp chocolate toffee bits, you can always add more if desired
